Since mid-2023, our commitment to supporting the community in Tiwi, a picturesque town on the Southern Coast of Mombasa, Kenya, has taken a meaningful form. Together with Mombasa Street Eats and CK Niche Retreats, we have made it our mission to visit the local educational facility monthly, especially during the month of Ramadhan, to distribute essentials to the needy and orphaned students. Our contributions, funded by generous donors as well as a portion of sales from MSE and CK Niche Retreats, include rations, cash, and necessities, alongside providing iftar.

This effort has its roots in the early 1980s with the establishment of a foundational mosque, which has since become a refuge for many seeking education and comfort. Today, despite facing infrastructure challenges, the facility serves as a beacon of hope to over 300 students with the help of six dedicated instructors.

In addition to aiding the educational facility, a notable initiative launched by Chef Zayn has helped extend our support to families in the surrounding communities, providing food packs, clothing, and contributions to ensure their well-being.

Our Ramadan donation campaign is an opportunity for us to unite in support of this noble cause. Each contribution helps to not only provide immediate relief but also to foster a brighter future for these children.
